Good to know: ID or driver’s licence required · pick-up & return 9 AM–7 PM · payment in cash before use · gear returned in the same condition · a €200 deposit applies if you keep the gear with you (refunded on the last day) · VAT included.

Damage / total loss: surfboard €30 / €350 · wetsuit €25 / €150. Rental use is the client’s responsibility; insurance does not cover damage, loss or theft.

Your instructor

Meet Pedro — your coach and host

Pedro started surfing at just 13 and has spent his life in the water at Peniche — turning that lifelong passion into patient, personal coaching. He founded Peniche On Surf back in 2014 and reads each surfer individually, which is why guests so often feel real improvement after just a couple of hours.

He also runs the Supertubos West Surf bed & breakfast just a short hop away — so you can train and stay with the same welcoming team, treated like family from the moment you arrive. And he is never far from Bala, his dog, who is always by his side and the good soul of the school.
